Last December (2022), I embarked on a journey to the Philippines to improve my English and gain self-confidence. I traveled along 3 weeks and had an opportunity to stay with the people who are speaking English in Bikol Province Philippines.

One of the highlights of my trip was climbing to the top of Mayon, a beautiful and active volcano located in the Bicol region of the Philippines. The climb was challenging, but the view from the summit was breathtaking. I was able to capture the moment in a photo, which I will treasure forever.

During my stay, I was able to immerse myself in the local culture and try the delicious food. I was struck by the warmth and hospitality of the Filipinos I met and the beauty of the places I visited.

The Philippines is known for its diverse culture and natural beauty, and my trip did not disappoint. From the stunning beaches and lush rainforests to the vibrant cities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, my trip to the Philippines was an unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their language skills and gain a deeper understanding of a different culture.

Traveling is motivating as it pushes us out of our familiar environments and encourages us to experience new sights, flavors, and activities. It challenges us to adapt to unfamiliar places, interact with diverse people, embrace new opportunities and create shared memories with loved ones.
